My Background

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 8 years, private practice psychotherapist for over 5 years…And as a previous grief counseling client myself…

I noticed something.

Despite the health and emotional transformation they tried to gain, they felt highly frustrated by generic boxed-in grief support. Then they realized insurance demands and functional progress not happening fast enough complicated “getting over grief” without clear untangling directions. 

 The lesson learned is that spousal and partner grief has no check boxes to tick-off because the ebbs and flows, the healing, are unique to each person.
